About Khadija Foundation

The Khadija foundation is a non-profit Charity Organization registered in the United Kingdom. Its purpose is to provide Education and promote the Welfare of needy Children in Africa with the goal of preparing them to be Self-Reliant, and Socially Responsible Citizens.
The Khadija Centre in Kenya was started in 2003, at the initiative of a benevolent contributor from Mombasa, a small multi-cultural island off the Kenyan Coast. So far, the Foundation has successfully initiated two major projects in Kenya and Gambia.

Khadija Education Centre

Our vision is to educate the children and assist them through their childhood and teenage-hood in order to produce the next generation of exemplary Citizens .

The Centre provides an Integrated Education Syllabus for Kindergarten, Madrasa, and Primary School. Dedicated staff is hosted by the Centre to dispense quality teaching and activities.







Khadija Health Centre

The facility has a full time Clinic Officer (Nurse Practitioner) and a Nurse to attend to the Community needs in areas such as Malaria, Typhoid, Cholera, Prenatal Care, and Child Care.

Part of the clinic activities is generously sponsored by Doctors Worldwide.Due to our current success and the demand from the community, we are planning to expand the facility to accommodate this demand.





Khadija Orphanage

Khadija Centre Rabai runs an orphanage that accommodates approximately fifty children.
It offers the children:

•Accommodation
•Meals
•Recreational areas

Khadija Centre considers all children as an extended family, where they recover their lost opportunities of growth. They will be raised to honour their culture and become contributing members of the society.
